November 2019 – From the Founder’s Desk

Preparing files for workshop attendees

In November, ROCKBlue concluded the 1st in a series of three workshops that we call PAWS. These workshops help facilitate rapid and significant performance improvements for the participating

water utilities and municipalities. For a relatively new and small non-profit, ROCKBlue, putting on a major regional workshop could be a daunting challenge. But, judging from the results of the workshop and the post workshop evaluations, it was a resounding success! Please see the newsletter article on the workshop for more details.

November and December are two of the most critical months for non-profits such as ROCKBlue. This is considered the “giving season”. This is the period when those that want to support the work that we do, and the results we can achieve, make their year-end financial contributions. These contributions are our lifeline to continue and grow – to expand our impact. As we’re a registered 501 (c)(3) the donations are tax deductible in the US and South Africa so we ask that you consider a donation via our website

While we welcome new donations, we have not forgotten the generous donations that have already been made both financially and in-kind. They have been significant and impactful with regards to the results yielded. They have not only enabled us to work in five countries, with 18 cities/towns that serve over 5 million. But they’ve also helped us to continue our four Initiatives (referenced separately) which play an invaluable role towards addressing UN Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG6). On behalf of all those that we work with, we thank our supporters for this help.
